The article covers the Muslim dynasties, whose origins were among the Turks and which founded their states in Central Asia, as well as their system of government, on the basis of primary sources and scholarly literature. It is also shown that the Samanid Devan system was assimilated and refined by the later dynasties and enriched by local traditions, and that ministries, important titles, positions and offices were established.References
