Abstract

This article examines the scholarly legacy of Shaykh Muhammad Sodiq Muhammad Yusuf as a distinguished jurist and his contribution to the development of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh). Particular attention is given to the scientific and methodological significance of his works Kifoya, Usul al-Fiqh, and Fiqh Schools and Books. The study highlights his efforts in popularizing fiqh studies in the Uzbek language, presenting the classical Hanafi heritage in a form accessible to modern readers, and explaining both theoretical and practical aspects of Islamic law. Furthermore, the article analyzes his role in promoting religious literacy, strengthening legal consciousness, and preserving the authentic traditions of Islamic scholarship.
