Author Guidelines

Submission format. Manuscripts must be submitted in English as a Microsoft Word file (.docx). Use A4 page size, Times New Roman 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing and 2.5 cm margins on all sides.

Length. Full papers: 4,000-8,000 words including references. Short papers and poster contributions: 1,500-3,000 words. Abstract-only submissions: 250-400 words.

Structure. Title (max. 15 words); author name(s), affiliation, country, e-mail and ORCID iD; abstract of 150-250 words; 4-7 keywords; Introduction; Literature Review; Methods; Results; Discussion; Conclusion; References.

References. Use APA 7th edition style for both in-text citations and the reference list. Provide a DOI for every source that has one.

Tables and figures. Number consecutively, give each a caption, and place them in the text at the point where they are first discussed. Figures must be legible at 300 dpi.

Anonymity. Because review is double-anonymous, the manuscript file must not contain author names, affiliations or self-identifying acknowledgements. Enter author details in the submission metadata only.

Ethics. Research involving human participants must state the approving ethics body and confirm that informed consent was obtained.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting, please confirm that:

  1. The contribution is original, has not been published before and is not under consideration by another conference or journal.
  2. The file is in .docx format and follows the formatting rules in the Author Guidelines.
  3. The manuscript is fully anonymised for double-anonymous peer review.
  4. An abstract of 150-250 words and 4-7 keywords are included.
  5. All references follow APA 7th edition style and DOIs are supplied where available.
  6. All co-authors have approved the submission and are entered in the metadata with their affiliations and ORCID iDs.
  7. Any required ethics approval and funding sources are declared.

Keynote Addresses

Invited plenary and keynote contributions presented at the conference. Keynote papers are reviewed editorially by the Scientific Committee.

Conference Papers

Full peer-reviewed research papers (4,000-8,000 words) presented at the conference. All submissions in this section undergo double-anonymous peer review.

Short Papers and Abstracts

Short papers, work-in-progress reports and abstract-only contributions (250-3,000 words) accepted for oral or poster presentation.

Panel and Workshop Reports

Summaries and outcome reports of panels, symposia, round tables and workshops held during the conference.
