Publication Fees & Payment Information
The Journal of Interdisciplinary Human Studies (JIHS) is an open-access journal. To support editorial management, peer review, online hosting, archiving infrastructure, and long-term accessibility, the following publication fees apply:
Article Submission Fee
0 USD (No Submission Fee)
There is no cost to submit an article to the journal. All manuscripts are evaluated on academic merit, relevance, and originality.
Article Publication Fee (APC)
30 USD (or equivalent currency)
If the submitted manuscript is accepted after peer review, the author(s) will be required to pay the Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover publication services, including:
- DOI registration
- Manuscript formatting and typesetting
- Long-term digital archiving
- Open access hosting and platform maintenance
APC Payment Methods
Payment is required only after the official acceptance letter and invoice are issued by the Editorial Office. Authors are kindly requested not to make any payment before receiving an official invoice.

Waiver and Financial Support Policy
JIHS is committed to supporting global academic participation. If an author does not have the financial resources to pay the publication fee, they may request a full or partial waiver.
Waiver decisions are based on:
- Justified financial need
- Institutional funding limitations
- Country economic context (Low/Lower-Middle Income Countries)
- Academic merit of the submission
Requests for waivers must be submitted after manuscript acceptance and before publication.
Voluntary Contributions
Authors, readers, and institutions who wish to financially support the development and sustainability of JIHS may provide voluntary donations. These contributions help maintain:
- High editorial standards
- International peer review participation
- Accessibility and indexing development
However, donations are voluntary and do not influence editorial decisions, review outcomes, or acceptance.
